Vet Recommendation Tri-Cities WA
« on: August 06, 2017, 04:58:47 PM »
Looking for a vet recommendation for the Tri-Cities area that is reasonable and honest. We are in Kennewick so within a 1 hour drive would be preferred. We have a 3 year old chessie.  Thanks, Clayton

Dr Parbs. Desert vet in Richland.
Saw my lab, sees my airdale and now my chessie. Not a hunter herself but understands I am and my dogs are and respect that. Works well with then and will do whatever you want and understands our pets have a financial limit if they do.

Dr Blake is my back up, she comes from a hunting family and I've worked with her a lot when she was at the vet emergency in pasco. She just moved to desert vet and if I wasn't ready established with Dr Parbs, I would see Dr Blake.

We've been very happy with Animal Hospital of Pasco. We first went to them when VCA wanted to charge us over $1k for a cat teeth cleaning. It was maybe 1/3 of that at AHOP. They've also treated our dogs and horse.
We've taken one of our dogs to Paws Claws and Hooves in WR because it's close, and they were good/reasonabe too.

Animal Hospital of Pasco is where we go too.

Ive been using Dr menks the past few years, really like them, and affordable.
Before that I used desert vet, never a bad experience there, just switched when I needed to get right in and they were closed for whatever reason.
I'd use either one.

You might check with WSU, friends have taken their labs there and been very happy.
The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first!

Thanks for the suggestions. WSU in Pullman? That's a little to far, 2-1/2 hours one way. I will have to make some calls.

I haven't used any of the Tri Cities vets, but it sounds like there are some options. If you're still looking for options, I'd suggest the Hermiston Vet Clinic.

I also use Animal Hospital of Pasco, but I am thinking about looking for another vet as I feel like every time I take my pup there, I see a vet for 2 seconds and then we are walked to the front door.
