Meat Packer In Dayton
« on: August 30, 2017, 05:53:15 AM »
Does anyone know of 1-3 different meat packers based out of the Dayton area?

I would like to place a deposit and reserve my packer now, for my Oct 23rd-Nov 5th Quality Bull Dayton (Modern) Elk Hunt. I'm trying to be positive and optimistic, that I will have meat on the ground this year. If they would like to meet me, I will be in town Monday-Friday next week scouting.

Thank you and good luck hunting everyone!

I don't know of any packers in the area but you may get a few guys in the area that'd be willing to come up and throw a quarter on their back.

Don't the 2 sponsor outfitters above provide pack service in that area? Western life and wilderness?

Not in Dayton Unit. There was a previous thread about this earlier. Believe the packers areas are Tucannon and Wenaha East.

Thank you guys. I will give them a call and get the details. I know of Western Life (Mtn. Cook Dave), but I am not aware of the other mentioned (Wilderness???). Who am I calling besides Mtn. Cook? Thanks again

Check with the feed store in Dayton. They helped me with who to contact when I needed a packer on short notice a few years ago
