I use the folding Gerber with interchangeable blades, seems to work good.

The Wyoming saw is great for keeping in the truck, if your going to pack it use the gerber saw that slides into the handle.

I've used the Gerber exchange saw for over 10 years - very sharp, comes with a bone saw, and easy to get replacement blades. Lightweight too.

Ruger 1, no bone saw for the Corona that I am aware of. I am not usually cutting bone on game. For quartering, I have used it to quickly get thru knee joints, not really bone, same on deheading game, between the bone not thru....... Cheap and sharp. works.

I am a huge fan of the Wyoming saw. Maybe I'm old school, but mine has never let me down.

I've used a several different ones but of the ones I've used the Wyo is tough to beat. However, my buddy has a (I think) Stihl folding limbing saw. It's a commercial grade saw for arborist and landscapers. Seems like it would be the cat's ass....

I have the bow style Wyoming saw. Have had it for 20 years or better. I still have yet to replace either blade (wood and bone). I love it.

I've used the Gerber saw, and have owned/used a wyoming saw forover 20 years. Definite vote goes to the Gerber for Lightweight, but for a saw that absolutely will not let you down, I pack the Wyoming saw. I pack it always as I know it will not break, period. Tough as nails, and really not all that heavy. And when you really need a saw, then you really need a saw. The Gerber we used when splitting a pelvis on a Moose this past fall, and it broke over backwards less than halfway through.

I use Knives of Alaska bone saw. Works great, done 6 elk and a deer with it and its still in great shape.

I love the Wyoming Saw. With the belt on it, it just snaps around the waist and is out of the way. Not that heavy, and works fantastically, especially on elk.

I have a Gerber that is the same thing as the Wyoming saw and it works great for everything.

I finally got the Wyoming Saw (short model). Used it on 2 elk in January. For function, I think I would prefer the long model.

don't need a pack saw just need a good Gerber axe to split and quarter a elk
