I bought a North Fork last year for $160 and it is ok..  I've had a couple eyelet casing come loose but they pop back in.  All in all I still like my Berkley over my North Fork and Lami

Loomis e6x rods are pretty sweet, Plus still lifetime warrnety! None of the other rods have that from what ive seen! Okuma rods are pretty damn nice too! They have some great models! Those are my 2 favorite Brands right there! :twocents:

Rainshadows blanks are sweet.

IMHO the 2-1141's I have from Rainshadow are twice the rods my Loomis 1141 GLX are.

I would call Chris Hendershot in Sequim and have him custom wrap a North Fork or Rainshadow blank.

Cheaper and twice the set-up.
Let me know if your interested and I will get you his info.
