I set up a QAD Hunter for a buddy using FOB's.  It was pretty simple.  I did have to use the longer launcher that came with it, but that was it.  I haven't set up a Trophy Taker, yet; check out Paul's explanation and videos, though.  It should work fine: http://fob-nation.com/SMF/index.php?topic=124.0
Bring a GPS!  It's awkward to have to eat your buddies!

Any of you close to Oly/Lacey, could contact me for help with the FOBS. I can check your setup for suitability and loan you a couple of practice FOBs.

The one thing that is paramount is that nothing will stabilize an arrows as quickly as a FOB. Speeds may be similar as Blazers. I have never noticed any additional noise. I am able to practice with field tips on a well tuned bow and never re-tune when switching to broadheads. I believe in them because they work for me.
Some people spend their entire life wondering if they made a difference. Marines don't have that problem.
He who shed blood with me shall forever be my brother.
