Whoa firecrotch that thing is huge.  If the bio was right thank goodness you killed it and took it out of the gene pool.  Hopefully it didn't breed any cows.  I don't think anyone is going to top that spike.  That is a big spike.  If there was a Boone and Crockett club for spikes that thing would definately make it.   :chuckle:

I don't know firecrotch, this one is pretty huge.  ;) Its spikes are so long I was convinced it was a cow until I tracked it down, and I shot it at 27 yards.

Here is my spike elk from Idaho. Thought I was going to die trying to pack this guy out. Would never ever shoot another elk on that hillside again. Look at the lake below and how far it drops off!  :bash:

i seen one in manastash 3 years ago that was a 5x1. the spike side had more mass and length then the mainbeam of the 5 side which was small like a rag horn rossy. coolest bull ive ever seen though. and he jumped the string on a 20yd shot  :bash: :bash: :bash:

some guy shot it the next day at 50yds with a recurve just down the road from my camp.
