Had a brief chat with MR. They say that towards the end of 2017 or beginning of 2018, they will begin selling hunting packs minus the frames, so if you have a Marshall, Metcalf, Pintler, or the new on on the Guide Lite Frame, you can buy another pack to put on there too. Looks like they will be offering the Metcalf, the Pintler, and a new unreleased pack as "pack only" options. Not the Marshall or the new day pack one that just came out. I tried to find out if the unreleased pack was Marshall sized, but couldn't get any info.

I didn't realize they had stopped selling the bag-only option.   Used to be able to, back in the NICE frame days.

I think they changed when the Guide Lite frame came out recently.

I had heard from a local dealer that he thought they would only sell the Pintler as a bag only option.  I sure hope that's not the case as I own a Pintler, but would love to buy a Metcalf in a bag only option.
