Man hope someone gets him if huntable... doesn't look like he would last the winter...love the look of his antler's.

Wow! I cannot imagine a better visual example of regression! That buck has had a run!

He's survived predators, bad winters, droughts, stumbling hunters, disease, probably some dicey road crossings during the rut and who knows what else. He's spread some seriously superior genes throughout his long life and fought like a prize fighter every single year to do so (good times).  I'm of the opinion that this old gentleman/warrior dies on his terms, in his bed, reminiscing about how he defied the odds and did HIS thing for so many years.

if able, it would be cool to see some pics of his younger years if you have any that you know are him, after years of defying the odds, I hope he dies naturally

I can almost hear him yelling at some young bucks to get off his durn lawn!

12plus maybe.   Most don’t make it that long unless in captivity, but usually the old r3cessed bucks I’ve seen haven’t had other bone and muscle loss like he has. He reminds me of the “90” year old.      I don’t have any photos  of him that I know are him.   I thought it was cool he still had doe and even ran a pesky forky off with just a look.

You've said the quantity hasn't been there this year but I have noticed on the few posts you have put deer pics up that they are old mature bucks with tons of mass! I love it!
