Good grief that's a cheap inexpensive rifle.

Are all these gun manufacturers trying to make up for the decline in revenue now that we have an R in office??  Seems like incredible gun deals have been the norm lately.

That is a great deal. I have one of these in 223 for Coyote hunting and it is a tack driver. Would make a great first rifle or Christmas gift for a kid.

You beat me to it.  I was just about to post this deal.  I keep an eye on Cabelas for rifle deals all the time.  I was already debating on a nice 270 or a cheap one that I wouldn't have to worry much about.   This made the decision easy    ...and at that price I'll probably still get the nicer one later

How are the triggers on those? I'm tempted to get one for my daughter. But I've never seen one, other than pictures.

For that price I'm willing to take a chance on the trigger.  It can't be any worse than my old Golden State Arms Imperial mauser 1950's 30-06.

I have no use for a rifle with a bad trigger. Certainly wouldn't let my daughter use a rifle with a bad trigger. If it had the Accutrigger, I would've already ordered one.

4 of my children have Axis rifles..... I hadn't heard of any trigger issues.
