Muzzy or Rifle.....he is a dead dear at 75 yards.  Bow, which I hunt with primarily.....no way I could take the shot.  Great buck though.

I was thinking exactly this originally.  But no way I'm packing an open sighted rifle in that open country, I'm not nearly as good as some at getting that close :chuckle:

It's pretty incredible what a guy can do with a firearm he's intimately familiar with.  Respect to those who put in the time and rounds downrange to know what they and their equipment are capable of.

It's just like every other debate. Stick with what your confident in. Don't take shots you might regret don't use equipment your not confident in and you'll be fine.  For someone like me who predator hunts all year long and does lots of wing shooting I  feel more than confident that I would have that buck in the back of my truck using any rifle I have in the safe.
