I think this must be his offspring, crab fronts are almost the same, and maybe what injured the old guys ear

Old papa has good mass, son has more length and looking at left side appears to have some mass. Here is the old guy 1 hour after I left stand yesterday. Son came I. Two hours later. They had a knock down drag out at 5:40am while I was watching 14 yards away. Awsome

My vote as well. Can't be disappointed with either.

Great spot to hunt.  Wish you had videos of those brawls.    I'd take the old one if given a choice.  He's likely not going to get any better.  The younger one might end up being better if given another year or two.

I'm not into points or mass, so I'd thethe younger buck since both look mature. The younger buck will probably made for better table fare, but I wouldn't hesitate to drop either if a shot presents itself.

Are those near your house..I think Ive seen the bigger one walking around. Take the one that gives the most ethical shot. No guarantees either one will be around next year.

2 different bucks ear and mass on pic #1 is a good looking buck and the more spindly tined buck needs more time and he'll be good

Click on the second pic to enlarge it and look closer. Same tines, same bases, and same mass. Looks different cause of the picture quality and lack of color. Same buck.
