Crossbows and fire arm restricted areas
« on: December 04, 2017, 08:58:49 AM »
Does anyone use a crossbow In a firearm restricted area, during modern firearm season, I had my labrum and Rotocuff done and bicep tendon re-attachment, done last spring, so no bow for this or next season, not wanting a disability permit, Just thinking about using a crossbow during general season. Any ideas on a good crossbow, that will get the job done. And not break the bank. 700-1400 dollar range
Thanks,
Matt

Yes.

We use a Barnett Jackal which would be below your low price point.  I picked this one as I can still cock it by hand if needed. If I had a price point up to $1400, I'd add another 100 and get one of these so I'd be much more comfortable with longer than a 40 yard shot.
