Sig AR Question????
« on: March 06, 2009, 07:14:13 AM »
My brother in-law wants to buy a Sig AR.  The price seemed a little high $1800.  He said it has a 16 in barrel.  He's not much of a shooter so I don't know why he wants an AR in the first place.  Anyway, my question is: Are the Sigs any better than say a Stag, Rock, or S&W.  What's your opinion?

I don't know but I've got a dandy in the classifieds if he's interested.

I believe the sig is a little different the a standard ar. They don't use the same gas system, the bolt isn't blown back my the gas but a rod is used so it said to be cleaner and more reliable with less lub needed.  :dunno:
