Yeah man it's 2017, there are endless reputable companies who do online sales through eBay.  Cameralandny is probably the largest or at least one of the largest optics dealer in North America and they sell a ton of stuff on eBay.  I believe greatfuldoug is their seller name.  The owner of cameraland is named Doug.

So this guy you named here does he warranty his product or does the parent co.?Also i take it that he is a licensed dealer for the co. as well right?

No he's a dealer.  Dealers don't warranty anything.  Manufacturers warranty their products.

Anyways none of this matters so much.My point is this item is cheap,sold on ebay over a year ago.Has no long term warranty.The manufacturer wants it sent back to them to have it fixed.yesterday.the thread was yesterday.

It seems to me that they are being very fair in this so this entire thread is unreasonable in my op.
