Hey You.... is a good one.

These were my dogs names : Ruger ( Tank was his nickname ) Greta, Dozer and Boscha. All were Rotts. Hammer was my Bluetick's name.

Thumper aka knot head ( my current foster dog)

Girls were

Shorty
Ruby
Nona
Tug
Tiny (my current dog)

There were also lots of foster dogs whose names escape me.

1970 version they named the dog Moreover called him Rover.

1940's version they named the dog Promise called him Pro.

I like Ruger too.

I like the longer names that can be shortened. My dog's full "First name" is Love Bug, named by my ex, but we call her Elbie "LB".
