Slow slow day on the Columbia. First time j have had my dog in a blind hunting, he did awesome all morning, right as we called it a morning a long hen came along.
Dog worked perfect. Steady at shot, straight out and delivered to hand, which he never does!
Anyway, just wanted to share a proud moment, this is my first hunting dog, and my first dog I've trained beyond basic obedience.
Headed to the taxi shortly, just gotta figure out what mount I want to do, eventually it will be a first/last retrieve mount. I'm open to suggestions!
