As of this posting yes, all units are open.  Check this link frequently, maybe even print it off the night before you leave early  :chuckle:

Hunters can also verify closures by calling the toll-free cougar hotline (1-866-364-4868, press 2 after the recording).

Unless I'm mistaken, it's now January 2018  :chuckle:

So...there is no late season for 2018 OR they did away with the stupid quota system?  Or they just haven't updated it from last year  :dunno:

here's to hoping the quota system is gone,  I'll be checking the website and going hunting until I hear otherwise.

Been here every day for the last 3 days. He was in the chicken coupe today when I got home from work. He is definitely not afraid of me or my 85lb lab. He will be here tomorrow.  I've got my CWP.  I won't make the same mistake again.

That's not good buddy. Want me to send Cut over to camp out in your yard? He'd even sleep with the chickens.

It looks like it was updated from this mourning,I'm glad they updated, but at the same time all the units I hunt are closed.
For the past few years 121,117,have been closed Jan 1, you would think it might give them an idea that cougar numbers might be off in these units. But whatever rant over,Goodluck to anybody hunting open units.

Cougar has a bullet in it! The sun set quick. I'll chase it in the morning.
