Feeding Eagles ~ Nothing goes to waste
« on: January 15, 2018, 02:07:33 PM »

Feeding Eagles ~ Nothing goes to waste
What I like about the trapping season is feeding Eagle all of my catches (carcasses).
I have been doing this for years.
I put out a couple of trail cameras the other day and throw out a couple of beaver carcasses and a raccoon carcass.
The Eagles cleaned it all up in a day.  Nothing goes to waste in the wildlife kingdom.
I counted 15 eagles the other day on my pile.   :yike:

If you guys see a lace where eagles are, throw them out your trapping carcasses.
If your in the Monroe area drop them off to me and I'll feed the eagles for you.

Eagles fly up Scatter creek at the edge of our property. When we see them we know salmon are swimming up stream.  Not as many as in your photos.
I need to get rid of freezer-burned meat.  I'll put it out for them and the hawks and coyotes, maybe some in a large cage trap.

They do the same with deer road kill on the east side.  If they have the choice a coyote goes first.  Lots of eagles this year.
