As an idea to kick around before you order a new prechambered barrel, take a look at maybe doing a 6mm Creedmoor instead.

👍 The 6mm Creedmoor is a option. Well done on spending enough time on the trigger to shoot out a barrel. Everyone yaps about barrel life but VERY, VERY FEW, ever will shoot a barrel out in their life time. Especially from start to finish. At today's powder prices it took you about $500.00 bucks in powder alone to shoot that barrel out. Not to mention, brass, bullets and primers. Most couldn't afford to shoot a barrel out, let alone find the time to send 2700 plus rounds down range.

I shot a barrel out in one of my .264's in less than 500 rounds.   I was working on hot loads.

I have done 6 benchmark in the last 1.5 years and have another about done. 10 total so far lol. Great company If you are ever shopping. I have a place they keep them in stock to if you want the site.

Google your barrel choice and see who sells them.  You can get them from vendors other than the factory.  My Hart barrels came from New Braunfels, Texas.  I forget the name of the store.  You won't get a discount when buying from the mfgr.  Most, if not all of them sell at MSRP as so not to compete with their vendors.

About 90 days, last one I had done was a 30" .308 Baer. You can also purchase a barrel and just a smith spin it for a Remage. That would be much quicker. I have been purchasing some of my barrels from Dixie Precision(Bugholes). They have a fairly respectable inventory of quality barrels on hand. The .243 & 6.5 Bartlein barrels ROCK!

Thought I would share an update. 
Barrel vice arrived today. Barrel will be here Thursday along with the rest of my tools.   Went with criterion SS barrel in 243 1:7 28" bull.

I had wanted a 30" in 243AI but I'm inpatient and this one was on the shelf.  Maybe next barrel will be ai.

Picked up 500 of the 115 vld's on sale and few lbs of h4350 and h1000 and 2 cases of cci250's. Just about got enough components now to burn this barrel out with the ones I had on hand.

Awesome job on the work to wear out a barrel!  I have a few close but I don’t stick to one rifle enough. My 788 .243 is about done, but that is another story.

I’ve just about done in my .220 Swift, throat is so long you can’t touch the lands.  Shot 1200 +/- by me and about 500 by the previous owner. I did find a .25 MOA load last i shot it out of pure luck, guess I will shoot that until nothing shoots. Bore is still pretty good but the price to have it set back and the few extra rounds before the bore is shot probably won’t pay off. Time to probably go with something new with a bit faster twist.

Thank you for the kind words guys! I'll update again when I get her back together again.  Atleast my 300 is still shooting well, so I have something to do in the mean time. Did a trigger job on it yesterday and got a nice 1 3/4# pull

Just a quick thought. You may want to give the Nosler 105gr RDF a try. They shoot extremly well through my 6mm Creedmoor and my friends 6x47 Lapua.

With a BC of .571, they are no slouch. I get them from Nosler for about half the price of local retail. These are not "Seconds" these are "Firsts"/ "Factory over-runs". 500 count of 105gr Nosler 6mm RDF's for $99.00 bucks. Currently in stock.

I switched from the 105 Lapua Scenar to the 105 RDF in my 6mm BR pistol and I couldn't be happier. I had a buddy tell me that they're probably garbage since none of the PRS guys are shooting them. That was the best product endorsement I ever heard, so I bought 500 of them to try.

Sorry to thread jack but have any of you more experienced guys with the 6mm bullets tried the ELD-X 103’s at all. I they shoot great in all my other guns and I just bought a bunch to try in the 243. Didn’t think I could go wrong with them but not hearing much love for them. I don’t have the twist to shoot those 115 bergers or I would be
