Some good prices on these stoves. Anyone have experience with this person?

I have been eyeing this as well. Wonder how they compare to a 4dog.

The picture of the stove that pops up when you click on the ad is the 1 we bought for my brother in law when I had my Dayton muzzy tag. Excellent stoves. Great guy. A lot of guys on here and on Ifish that I have talked to have bought stoves from Joe. Do a search on here for tent stoves and you will get some pretty good feedback. I highly recommend them! He is very knowledgable and will build to suit!

I drove hours to get mine and it was worth it. Simple functional and nice work made this an easy choice. Joe is alright

One thing I can't see is the inside.  The 4-dog is designed with an internal baffle in the roof that keeps flames circulating within the stove as opposed to having a direct path to shoot up the chimney.  I do know this feature works well and is something I like in my 4-dog.  I don't know how this stove was designed or if it has something similar.

Also, I would check to see how stable it is with legs going straight down.  Th 4-dog has legs at an angle which may result in a more stable stove.

Other than that, it looks to be similar in that is looks like heavy gauge steel, gasketed door, etc.  Similar, but different overall design.  A final consideration would be to make sure the legs and stove pipe can all fit inside for storage.

The legs and stove pipe fit inside of the stove we bought. I guess it all depends on the size of the stove a person gets though. Joes stoves are very stable. The legs have a little adjustment to them in case the ground isn't level. Don't know about the baffles. But I believe that is what the issue that Joe told me he had to fix on a Four dog. If that's what a person wants I'm sure he would put the baffle in. As long as he knew it really made a difference. Wouldnt a damper do the same thing?

I have one of joes stoves and it is bad ass! All the legs and nesting stove pipe fit inside of it. Has handles for carrying. Super stable and you can pack it full and it will burn all night. I’ve burnt a lot of wood in mine. I like how it sits up higher than a lot of stoves you can fit stuff underneath it.

I really prefer to use a manual damper. Way more control when you want
