Broken heart

So as some of you know we added a new pup to our family ...little Jax. Our family has six dogs and we love all of them . Tanner is a mix lab/pointer . He loves adults but has become dog aggressive . Last week he attacked little Jax without being prevoked. This puts us in a tough situation. He is eleven and still has time left to show and be loved. I can't submit the other dogs to the risk of injury. Thankfully Jax will make a recovery . At this time I'm reaching out to anyone that may want a companion . They would need to be without a dog . At eleven Tanner can still run like the wind . He deserves the chance to live out his last few years without the strain of other dogs on him .if anyone knows someone that would possibly be a good fit for him I would truly appreciate it I would have to have to put him down . Sincerely Corey

Tough deal, Corey. I'd take him but we have another dog already. Hope it works out for him.

Man I hope he finds a home, we have two dogs but one is small, I wouldn't mind Tanner eating the little dog but the wife would kill me. Your situation is tuff, sorry man.

Well Jax is doing great making a full recovery. I got some insight why Tanner tott has been acting agressive the last couple months. After a vet visit and a chest x-ray we found a fairly large tumor in his right lung . It makes sense . I'm not mad at him any more . He is gonna get some love and meds till it's his time. We will have to use the muzzle and separation while he is around but it seems to be the best option

That's a tough one. I am sure you will make whatever time you now have left with him the best.

Tough one. You are doing right by him.
