Anyone want to join in the fun
« on: March 09, 2009, 08:32:46 AM »
I'm skipping work today (I'm my own boss so I can) and headed to the mouth of the Walla Walla to see if I cant hook into "catfish hunter" (name that movie) anyway I need to see if I can catch something bigger than my wife's 26 incher she got from the bridge. She still brags about it.

If anyone is interested from the Tri-Cities area I'll be out about 0930. Hope the wind holds off. If your into bow fishing there are some monster carp that hang out in the log jam with the cats.

Will report back with some nice pics I hope.
God Bless,
Scott

Wish I could.  Good luck!

BTW:  The movie is "The Bad News Bears".

now post some pics when you get back.

Ding Ding Ding we have a winner! Ben I can tell your someone who knows great movies.

The wind blew and it was a bit nipply. Not a bite in an hour and a half and didn't even see a single carp resting in the log jam. I packed up and went to Quarry Pong to try my luck as some trout and skunked there too. Did see couple small trout brought in.

Wish I had remembered my camera so I could have taken pics of the ducks and bald eagle hanging out around the pond trying to shelter from the wind.

Hay, even a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work.
God Bless,
Scott

It was in both. In the second movie they caught the behemoth of a fish.
