Decided to go shed hunting two weeks ago in an area that is heavy in Blacktail, controlled access, and I KNOW of only one other guy who specifically shed hunts the area (I think any sheds found by other people are incidental finds, like the landscape crews). Came out into an East facing clearing and picked up the large one on the right...decided to continue down that edge of greenbelt and found the one third from the right. Looked pretty hard but couldn't find the match for either. Continued looking for an hour or so more and on my way back I happened to look along an edge that transitions from grass to Scotch Broom, also East facing, and found another year-old shed, then immediately spotted the match about a foot away.

This is my first post in the forums...just wanted to say I really enjoy seeing your guys' finds!

First sheds of the year. Picked up two on Tuesday in a new area for me. Technically both blacktails but...I'll admit that they are benchleg sheds. Shed on the right is my biggest deer shed to-date. Found it tines down, buried in the leaves. It is at least from a 2017 shed, maybe a bit older. Fingers crossed for round 2 tomorrow!

1st time out this year, found this old spike. Pretty cool, it's like 2 feet long. Talked to a guy that picked up 2 fresh ones right on the road a couple days ago, so they are starting to drop.

No luck yesterday.  Came across 2 bucks still packin' though... big one and a little one.  Couldn't get a pic of the smaller.
Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.  That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
