Newest offerings from Berger
« on: February 11, 2018, 10:39:51 AM »
Anyone have release date info for these  :dunno:
I wouldn't mind putting some juice behind that 6.5!

From Berger:    “Tentative late summer to fall 2018 BUT we still have a lot of testing to do! No details on twist rates required yet . Keep an eye on the BERGER WEBSITE for any future announcements on new bullet releases!”

Might have to ream out my Lapua to AI to push those 329’s.

I've read that the 155's are performing well in 8 twist. Berger is redesigning the nose final weight will be 156.Trying to get my hands on the 245's to test in my 9 twist.

Yep! These should be line-drivers pushed with some velocity to "way-out-there" for sure👍

The new 155 grain 6.5 is cool but I doubt it will be worth it for any of the normal 6.5 chambers/throats.  If I had a 6.5-300WBY I'm sure I'd be drooling though
Kindly do not attempt to cloud the issue with too many facts.

I've got a PRC in the works and that 156 might be the ticket!

You know, I'm pretty sure there's a 6.5 Badger reamer floating around here somewhere....

Super happy with my 6.5-06AI for now, less than 20MOA to a 1000. 6.5 Badger is a monster and probably needs half that lol

And a "GO" gauge to go with it for guys that want to expirience superior performance with the heavy 6.5's and not just yap about it.

From left to right.

My .450 Ultra Magnum (500gr Hornady).
Yorke's creation .375 BME (350gr SMK)which GA Precision is building for me
6.5 Badger(160gr Matrix)
.338 Ultra Magnum case

**Note** Yorke's neck turn job on the pictured .375 BME cartridge is semi-sexy on this particular example.
