Strutting turkey mount gift for my dad
« on: March 16, 2018, 08:10:48 AM »
Post a pictures of your turkey mount!

I'm excited that a couple years ago my dad who is now 70 killed a monster turkey. He doesn't know that my offer to take it home and clean it really meant I was carefully cleaning the bird up and putting it in the freezer. I'm ready to have it mounted strutting and giving it to him as a gift.  I'd like to find someone that will freeze dry the original head and does a great job painting it. So many turkey mounts are ruined by the heads looking like a cartoon.

I don't care where the taxidermist is located, I'll travel to find a artist that will do an awesome job on the mount.....Suggestions and recommendations?

I would reach out to member WCTaxidermy and see who he recommends. He is retired now, but did my turkey. One of the better birds I have seen.
