Good auto mechanic in Issaquah/Bellevue?
« on: March 17, 2018, 02:02:39 PM »
My vehicle's got a bad leak somewhere along the cooling system. New to the area and I've always preferred finding an independent auto mechanic I can trust with my car issues. I'm not inclined or able to do repairs myself. Anyone have a good recommendation of a shop I can trust my vehicles and money with?

If someone can let me know the shop name and I'll be sure to check it out!

If you go to ACDelco.com you can search for a Professional Service Center in your area that deals with AC Delco products. These are shops that continually use high quality o.e. parts either from companies like Seattle Automotive or Worldpac. Both of those companies are wholesale only and don't offer walk in purchasing of parts. Shops that use them work on all makes and models and tend to use better parts.

Coach Corey is your guy and GM vehicles are sort of his jam.

Randy's

Can't seem to find this shop... any more info? I may head up to Kenmore if I can get it towed that far, but the car won't hold its coolant, so I may be stuck going close by!

Morgan Motors in Issaquah has done some work for me and I've been pleased.

Just an update... Wanted to get it up to Kenmore, but my auto insurance towing meant I needed to stick close by. Took it to Morgan's based on suggestions here. Unfortunately, looks like it's a blown head gasket.    :(   $2000 is not worth it for a beat up old car like ours.

RIP Chevy Malibu. If anyone knows good cash for junk car places, let me know, but I've already been quoted $0... just the free pickup.

Thanks for your help, folks - wish it were better news. My family will be one car until we save enough for a used 4wd SUV. Whenever we get there, the next auto will be a 4wd SUV for getting up in the woods... that's the good news!
