Fresh tracks again the past few days... along with one impressive set of cougar tracks! Those poor elk! 🙈
No kills located... aside from an older elk carcass with the antlers sawed off. Lots of ridgetop traveling for those dogs though. Sure would make a pretty photo, Plat. 😝
I am not opposed to golf, for I suspect it keeps armies of the unworthy from discovering deer.

Who doesn't like sunset walks thru the forest, the cool mountain breeze whipping thru your hair and a nice coyote or cougar (either cougar works  :chuckle: ) pelt to keep you warm.

Does anybody have the map that shows where wolves are fed delisted in WA.? I've seen it on here before and when I searched (not very hard) the USFS website I didn't see it.

This is the last one I knew was made.

Are you going to show this to the WDFW, not that I think it will make difference, but at least they couldn't say it wasn't there.

I reported it, its not the 1st time we've seen wolves in the general area and there is a lot more than one.
Wolves with that color coat are usually from the Teanaway pack. Last I checked there were 11 total in that pack.

They hang out in 335 and 328. I've seen them up in the Navaho Peak basin, Miller Peak basin, and have heard that they even end up in the ALW during the summer. They are in 328 most of the winter and early spring according to the bio in charge of tracking the collared pack members.
