It’s a throwback Thursday so Let’s see those pictures and stories of times gone by. I’m sure everyone has a pic or two of some memorable catches from the past, let’s see ‘em!

This is from a year ago last week.  Was fishing with my Uncle's Son on the Cowlitz and pulled this out in front of a couple dozen guide boats that were all getting skunked.  We had clients from other boats taking pics and hooting and hollering as I fought this fish and it came out of the water aver a dozen times.  Not a huge fish but after a few hours of not seeing a fish hooked, combat fishing and dealing with torrential down pours and high winds it was satisfying to hook it in a spot where the guides kept passing by.

First steelhead on a fly rod on the Deschutes in Oregon. About 1999 I think.

Boot November chum from the Sky. Tons of fun on a fly rod.

My last fishing trip with my grandfather. Probably around 2000. One of the Pay to play lakes in eastern Washington.

Here's a couple steelhead to add to the TBT. Something the ol man and I loved to do together. Lost him Oct. 4th, 2015 while he was at elk camp. Haven't fished for steelhead since. Tough even pulling these pics up, to be honest. The big fish in the middle photo was his. He was so proud of that fish. He had a replica made and it hangs in my shop now.

Great photos Clint, your dad was a solid guy that everybody liked.  He is missed.

See if I can dig a few up from my phone

30 minute limit of coho on the snohomish plus a few that came off (30 minutes from the time I started the run from the launch, till I was pulling anchor heading back) by far the best day I’ve had on that river, that whole week went about the same way just not quite as quick.

Wife’s first king salmon

Lake Samammish Cutthroat, keep telling myself to get a replica painted up of that one, not many left as nice as that one was.
