Up river sturgeon
« on: April 08, 2018, 02:11:52 PM »
Is this going to be the new sturgeon fishery?  I like the size slot.  Will put this on my spring/summer to do list.  Anybody else?

We went once the first time around and fishing was slow at best. Saw 3 fish caught out of about 40 boats below Wanapum. I did hear reports of a few guys doing well, and yes nice big keepers for the lucky ones. I wonder how it will be this time around.

Don't go expecting to catch numbers.  Took us a year to start figuring things out.  This is the third year of it.  First year was busy, everybody kept getting skunked and pressure dropped off
