I see there are two pay to hunt areas in this unit, as well as a large pseudo public land area that is limited access. I'm neither opposed to purchasing a private timber permit, nor putting in the bike and/or boot miles.
I've emailed our game dept. for a little help, no response.
Is one's time and money best spend purchasing one or both of the access permits for this unit, or are the majority of the animals on private (not timber co.) land?
