« on: May 28, 2018, 07:36:36 PM »
Does anyone out there have any experience with imr enduron 7977 in 7mm mag.  Looking at loading some hornady eld x 162's with it.
Thanks,
Joe

I have a 7mm Blaser Mag which is a near ballistic twin to the 7mm Rem mag and RL26 out performs 4831 by 100fps.  I bought a couple pounds of 7977 when it first came out but I've yet to use any of it.  I'm shooting the 180 Bergers 3050 out of a 26in. tube with RL26 but that is the only bullet I've shot in it so I'm of no help to you with the lighter bullets.

I also run RL26 and shoot 180gr vld hunters.  Plenty of speed.

or H1000.....

If the absolute best temp stability powder is what you are after, H1000 will most likely be the best choice.

Ok thanks for the reply guys.  I wanted to try it because of the temp stability.  I have some loaded in .2 increments.  I will update once I get out and see how it runs.
Thanks,
Joe

I have a 7 saum being built and am going to run H1000 and rl 26 and see what irons out.  I want I test 26 for temp stability before I stick to it.

I've used it in the 270 Win. Same speeds as RL 26, and just as accurate. Its a very compressed load to get 2970 with 140 ABs. I haven't tried it with 150's yet.

Side note, I get 3000 with RL 26 & 150s in the 270W, but I think the 140 AB is the best bullet out there for the 270 for BC & integrity.
