Worth a try.  Nothing else has worked in the last two decades.

That's my philosophy.  16 years for me...

It will be interesting to see how many people on this thread draw something...

I got a new pack this year and now that I think about it I don't want it to get all bloody and ruin it's newness so I better not get drawn for any tags until next year.

I’ve been having fun and doing pretty well in my general units. I don’t need to draw any tags. Drawing a quality or OIL tag will just take my time away from those hunts.

I would have to spend time scouting the new area, probably wouldn't have the time or money, now that all my kids are out of college and the mrs. and me are empty nesters...I mean I only have 19 quality elk points...Gotta try.

I'm trying to close a deal on my dream hunting property on the east side, and made wrong draw choices.  I don't need the added stress.

The last 4 posts are in opposition to the spirit of this thread.   Are you guys trying to kill the karma that we have been building for 5 pages? :bash:
Stop fearing the draw gods... >:(

I think I inspired this thread.  In addition to previously stated reasons, I just screwed up my back, L4/5 bulging disk.  It would really suck to draw any special permits in my crippled state.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

I already started drinking in the lounge. You can’t reverse what’s already been started.

I just got back into waterfowl hunting late last year. I'd really hate to draw a moose, mountain goat, quality deer or elk, or any other special permit, which could cause me to miss out on some good duck hunts. Guess I should have thought of that before I applied? Well, with any luck I'll draw nothing just like the last three years.

Does anyone know where the Skagit unit is? I'm pretty sure I'm drawing an any bull muzzle loader permit in there. Its my first time applying for this unit.

I could use some help getting access.
