You should give me the Camaro, that way we can keep the Cascades between it and Jackelope and keep his groceries in his belly.  It's the humanitarian thing to do.

I try to drive them once every two or three years.    My kids didn't even know I had the Camaro.  It sits in the garage under a car cover with junk piled on it.  I pulled it out a couple of years ago and they said "where did you get that?"  I said it's been in the garage.  They didn't believe me until they went in the garage and saw the bare concrete floor where the car normally was parked.

That photo is at the new house.  I just moved the car over there the other day.  Need to get the cover on it and pile some hunting stuff on top of it.  The chevelle is the wife's.  I don't dare put anything on that.  The Buick was my dad's.

I really should drive them more just don't have enough time.

The Camaro doesn't get groceries, thankfully. That's the crappy Chevelle's job. Yet another eyesore.

Thanks, my dad did that car 25 years ago.  The paint is starting to crack in some spots but I'm not touching it.  I love those flames and just don't know if I trust someone to repaint it and have it look the same.

I had the camaro right after highschool.  When I came back from the military I had that camaro and a crotch rocket Honda CBR motorcycle.  That motorcycle was going to be the death of me so I sold it and used the money to have my dad paint the camaro.  Not sure why I picked purple with the black top but a year later my wedding colors were purple, silver and black.  I am thinking my wife was sending subliminal messages in my sleep.

That Chevelle was the second to last car my dad restored just before he died.  It was the only thing keeping him going, "I've got to finish this car."  I didn't exactly have the money at the time but I just kept buying parts so he could keep working on it.

The last car that he did was a 55 chevy.  He was all over me to take it up and have the wheels and tires and put on it.  I didn't want to do it because then the car would be done.  I finally took it up and got the wheels and tires.  Took him for a ride in it burning rubber and slamming gears.  He passed away two weeks later.

Great memories with those cars.  I don't drive them nearly enough but I will never sell them.  I hope to buy that 55 from my sister some day.
