Yeah I did back in 2000.  Didn't catch the guy in the act but my dad and i were driving down county road and noticed a buck hanging close to the road off this guys shed.  We looked at it through binos and it didn't look that big at all.  So we drove down to it, his house was a few hundred yards away....turned out it was a dinky 2 point with like 1/8 inch of an eyeguard.  We contacted the gami and he ticketed the guy, confinscated his guns.  *censored*ty deal it got thrown out in court due to improper paperwork and filing the ticket.

It was either get $100 or get 10 bonus points towards elk or deer.  They do not (unless they changed it) give bonus points for once in a lifetime tags, only deer or elk.  I got 10 points for elk, put in on partners with my dad and got drawn that following year.  So yeah, it does pay off.

I did, turned in a guy up past my place who shot a doe and hid it in the brush, I was watching him through binocs, called the Gameys..who watched for him and nailed him.  That got me a branch tag in the Manstash a few years after it went Spike only.

That's why I put all three Game Warden's cell phones in my phone.  If I come across an idiot, I am not putting my 10 draw points in the hands of some sheriff's deputy.

Had a buddy that accidentally shot a 2 pt this year and turned himself in.  Still got the ticket, still can't hunt next season... I think he learned his lesson...
