Going which direction and for how far, please?

I found this out the hard way last weekend. Both google and Waze didn’t have this closure on it. Guess who I’ll have to check with the FS every time I go over that road now.

Closed at FR 2324 from Randle side and closed at FR 2325 from Troutlake side.

Does this mean that you can access 2324?  The website I saw said it was closed at 2322.

always look at the NF site for road closures and status... they also have a staged burn ban in GPNF as well includes smoking restrictions....https://www.fs.usda.gov/Internet/FSE_DOCUMENTS/fseprd590139.pdf

there are still other directions to end around closer to packwood coming back in Takhlakh area from Walupt lake direction... was the only way over in past washouts, they actually had graded the high side road past horseshoe lake.

Sneakyjake, is that a 4 stroke kohler or honda?  We have the older chrysler powerbee motor,  curious how the engine is on the newer ones.

Its tough to get into some places up there with the road work but should be fine come the opener.

Best way out of Randle, paved to Adams fork, then thru Orr crk, and up and over. Or there is the short cut up sheep crk rd, but its a goat trail. Just spent a week up there, lots of lost, turned around people. But we did see a new Nissan ultama make it up thru sheep crk. Out of packwood on Johnson crk is major washboard. And it is busy up there...
