 I don't think I've shared this yet. Really like the layout and bird on the left. But I shot the one on the right a little two close and it shows...

Being from the dry side, I don't ever see those, but that is one of the best looking bird species in the world.

Being from the dry side, I don't ever see those, but that is one of the best looking bird species in the world.
You might see them east of the Cascades on rivers and streams in the spring, I've seen them on the Tieton, Peshastin Creek, Wenatchee, Entiat, Methow and once on the mainstem Columbia at Pateros.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.
