Croc Mount is done
« on: August 17, 2018, 03:37:49 PM »
After 2 years, I finally got the skin mount on my Croc.

I wanted something a bit unique and I think I hit the mark!  Not sure where it will go.  It may need to just come out for BBQ's!

The head portion is artificial as I wanted a skull mount and with Crocs and gators, you can't do both.

Also had the feet made into book ends, a candy dish and had the skull done.  I have posted them elsewhere but will add them here as well.

Did her myself after she chewed on the base of my warthog display!

Here are a couple field photos.

Love the shot of it on the boat with my dad!

There is some long arming going on in the group shot.

In the collage, the one standing was my croc, and the second collage are frames from the video at the time of the shot.

That has to be the most unique and cool stuff I have seen. Awesome, and I love the candy jar. That yard art needs to come out on Holloween  :chuckle:

Was that about a 16 footer? 900lbs? Very cool!  I've always been fascinated by crocs.  Modern day dinosaurs.

It was just over 13 feet.  I want to say by one, maybe 2 inches.

I missed a 15 to 16 foot monster.  It was crazy big.

Not sure on the weight.

Photos of the big one.

The other stuff is really nice but I just love that skull! Thanks for sharing!
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Can't imagine seeing one of the big 20+ footers in person.  Giant killing machines.  Don't know how the locals even go near the water (though as a kid down in texas I loved swimming and boating in gator water).
