Frying it and making bread is the best way is to eat it.
I used to deep fry it,now I like to sauteed it with olive oil and seasonings, then when they get soft I'll add a tablespoon of butter and panko to the pan and lightly Brown it,really good

The in-laws got some when they were here. Thin sliced, brushed with olive oil, sprinkled with Johnie's seasoning salt and Garlic powder and on to the bbq. Turning until crisp like a potato chip. Pain in the butt, but not bad. Couldn't tell what they were. They even did the same with cucumbers. Next season the wife wanted to grow some Zucchini. There was bread, chips etc.. and I remembered why I hate zucchini. Never again. In fact, I have not eaten Zucchini since that year.
And as stated, you could not give the stuff away.

Love them sliced and sautéed with onion and garlic.
As long as we have the habitat, we can argue forever about who gets to kill what and when.  No habitat = no game.

Get a spiralizer or whatever you call it and make zucchini spaghetti out of them. Really good and better for you than actual spaghetti.

I also love them raw with some ranch or blue cheese. Just don't let them get too big.

That’s pretty cool do you cook them at all or just use them raw?

By don’t let them get to big you mean pick them every 30 minutes lol

We do something very similar with the chips except on a dehydrator. They disappear about a fast as I can make'em.

Great ideas in here. I need to fry some more before they're all done. I filled a 2 gallon bag with frozen slices to use in the off season.

These actually turned out great... zucchini brownies. I was surprised

You boil it I think. I’m the head eater in my house, not the head chef.

Being the head-eater is a heavy burden. I hope you take it as serious as I do! Someone has to protect the family from potential poisoning.

I pre-eat as much as possible to make sure everyone will be safe. Sometimes before it's even cooked.

I'm not concerned about poisoning, but as head-eater in my family I find it important not to allow the others to over eat. I worry about their health, weight, and don't want them to feel the discomfort of having over eaten. Happens every thanksgiving. I consider it taking one for the team. Also, for some reason I always end up with the serving forks. I get crap for that all the time.  :chuckle:

We make these "noodles" a lot . Saute them in a little olive oil or butter,it doesn't take much cooking time . They have a way better pasta like texture if you slice them put them in a paper sack or paper towel lined baking sheet for a day or two in the fridge . Gets rid of moisture . :twocents:

You can also make Zuchini lasagna . Replace pasta with thin Zuke slices . Follow same tip as above to get rid of excess moisture . Turns out pretty dang good !
