Bear, deer, people... no elk

Finally got myself some trail cams last week. Was hoping to find some elk. My buddy checked them for me while he was in the area setting up his own cams. No elk, but saw a little action

Looks like possibly a SAR training. I would move the cams based on that much human activity in just a week.

Not all that close to a trail, but along a game trail that gets heavy use.
They were doing actual SAR, a guy got lost in the area.

Put my 3rd cam in the backyard at the new house. Got two bulls the first night. Too bad I live in a draw unit

Been getting elk almost every night. A couple nice bulls one night. Got a pair of coyotes, and what I think is a blacktail doe

Nice backyard bulls. Living with them 365 might not be so much fun though.

Pulled cams in the hunting area today. Got elk multiple times a day, almost every day. Saw three separate cows while up there, including one with a spotted calf. Had a cow barking at us. Can't wait for next Sat!

2nd cam was less productive. Only had one visitor, same bear, it ate all 6 lbs of apples I dropped in 9 min
