Priest Lake Wolves
«
on:
March 18, 2009, 01:02:08 PM »
I was looking at the Idaho wolf activity map just posted. There was discussion about the wolves west of Priest.... Here's the evidence...I thought I was on a bear kill or something, the smell was so terrible...As i was looking for the source of the smell i came across this poor guy. He could hardly move, his back leg was mauled and was covered with maggots. A very sad sight. Not sure why they would have left him though. This is one set of at least five separate sets of tracks that that were within 100 yards of where I found him. That track is 5" long

momma probably distracted them and they took her and forgot about him. Yes, he would still be hanging around Mom.
My Washington bull had his hamstring almost ripped out and it was a pretty ugly looking wound that was in the process of healing, and NO it wasn't from another bull.

Thanks for posting...
Evidence of their existence only supports the tags that will hopefully be issued

Oh...Poor little guy.. Give me a break...
NO wild animal dies a peaceful death... I cant stand that kind of crap. I want to see a lot of wolves hit the ground hard...but it doesn't have a dang thing to do with the poor little animals they are killing and eating...

I saw a video where a wolf did the same thing to a doe, it just left after it got its fill from the hindquarter-the doe was still alive. Too bad Disney didnt include this perspective in its movies...(animals arent cute and cuddly) maybe there would be more tags around.

I found 6 dead cow elk with only the fetus ate out of them a year ago in 10a, I had no idea how bad this was. Something, like maybe mass extermination again?
