Just a heads up, a buddy of mine who lives off of Fisk Rd lost his dalmation dog two days ago and thinks that it may have taken off back in the Kapowsin tree farm near the 121 Rd off of the 1 road, its the white gated rd that goes to the Microwave tower on the left in the Bridge gate side.  Let me know if anyone sees the dog, thanks.
I was back there Wednesday looking for girdling didn't see anything

its when the bears strip the bark of the tree to eat the sweets, that in turn will kill the tree if he strips it all the way around,if your driving or walking around in there, look at the base of some of the younger reprod 8 to 15 yrs old.you will see where they have been.If ya look at a hillside or down on a large area you can see red trees, most of those are girdling problems.A bear can girdle 30 40 trees a day..you will see where the bears teeth are raked up and down the tree and gather the scrapings.hope that helps ya

Girdling in the forestry world usually means any cable, or wired that is used to stake up a sapling that the bark has begun to grow around, or has already grown around, resulting usually in a dead tree.
