Bighorn sheep rut?
« on: October 15, 2018, 09:36:32 PM »
I watched them knock heads in another state 7 or 8 years ago. I think it was end of September or 1st week of October. Does that sound right? Is there somewhere in Washington that's fairly easy to access where you can watch this? I'd like to take my grandkids. Thanks

Should be getting ready now and start kicking in over next couple weeks. Clemans mountain, Yakima river canyon to name a couple in central wa.

They are pounding heads in the Yakima river.   They started a good week or two ago, so now there will be more chasing.

pay attention when the seasons are on. That’ll push them away and you’ll be “wasting” your gas.   I’m not following this year so don’t have current info.
