Elk Hunting, New to Washington

Hello I recently moved here and just really wanting to get something this year. I am planning on hunting around Leavenworth but I have no knowledge of the area or even if it’s  a good area. Just looking for suggestions on places to hunt.

Elk are in that area but few and far in between. Mostly around the lake Wenatchee area.
