Looking for a shotgun for upland I’m leaning towards a 20 gauge got 2 shorthairs

I have 2 german shorthairs one is eleven and the other is 3 yrs old I adopted her 4 months ago I trained my male shorthair I’m guessing he may be to old but he sure doesn’t act like it he was was a heck of bird hunting dog when he was younger the femal has training from a dog trainer and has hunted ducks. I will be off until November 19 th looking at trying some upland hunting. I’ve hunted the Yakima firing range for quail quite a few around and some pheasant at release sites. I would rather hunt the east side. If any one has a open seat let me know I’m thinking of just getting a Benelli nova in 12 gauge pump.

I hunted the Crab creek release site a couple of times. It would be a great place for you and those dogs to find some fun. Especially if you hit it close to or right after Thanksgiving.
The Nova sure would be a good all around gun that you could use on a waterfowl trip as well.
