Best dates for fall bear hunting in WW
« on: October 30, 2018, 12:01:29 PM »
Next fall my Brother in law is planning on bringing his oldest son who will be 15, to Washington to go bear hunting with me.  When are the best dates to tell them to come.  They would probably come for a week.  I have plenty of places where I find bear, that is not the issue.  When do the fire hazard access bans usually end? I know that each year is different, but have you seen a general sweet spot for seeing activity?
Thanks

Probably Klickitat, Grayback, and Gifford Pinchot, from 1,500 to 3,000 elevation.
