It’s happening
« on: November 05, 2018, 09:44:42 AM »
It’s that time of the year.
Pain is temporary, achieving the goal is worth it.

I didn't say it would be easy, I said it would be worth it.

Every father should remember that one day his children will follow his example instead of his advice.

 Will do.

My daughter took it.  I think I am going to get her to join, she is only 16 but gets some pretty cool photos.  My wife got some awesome video of a bunch of it.  It was quite the battle.

Two different encounters this weekend I was sure there was going to be a throw down.   Both times the little buck bluffed the bigger buck.  Its why I thought there was going to be a fight.   I saw several where the buck was happy with his doe and the biggie came in and ruined it for him, but with these two, they werent going to give it up.   Once the big just moved on and once the little guy snort wheezed, flared up and ran the biggie off

I hope she does.   Lilly got alot of enjoyment posting on here before she discovered boys. LOL   If anyone gives her any trouble, Im sure there will be a line up of us ready to curb stomp.

I'll lead the charge.

" In today's instant gratification society, more and more pressure revolves around success and the measurement of one's prowess as a hunter by inches on a score chart or field photos produced on social media. Don't fall into the trap. Hunting is-and always will be- about the hunt, the adventure, the views, and time spent with close friends and family. " Ryan Hatfield
