Wyoming Antelope hunt question

I have been researching Wyoming and really want to surprise my dad by taking him on an antelope hunt there. Anyone have any ideas on a good OTC antelope hunt?
My dad is 62 and can still get around pretty good. I'm not asking for you to give your honey holes just tips on where to start possibly, also this would be our 1st antelope so not trying to shoot a monster. Mainly want some good memories with the old man.... Thank you

Based on 2018 data here are the units/types that you could draw with zero preference points in the standard draw for an Any Antelope license:

All units in Wyoming have antelope. For the most part, areas with high draw odds have less public access. If you have an application like onX on a phone or GPS you can usually find some public land to hunt but not necessarily.

If this is a one and done you might consider using an outfitter.

Unfortunately the question is being asked about a week too late, prior to 10/31 you could have purchased a preference point which would have increased the number of units.  I might look into using an outfitter too, it might give you a better quality hunt on some of these units that are easy to draw but have very little public access.  They are pretty cheap in Wyoming as well.

You can also gain some killer dirt with a trespass fee which could be much more affordable than an outfitter but also involves a lot more leg work to find.  Nice thing about guided is you can just show up and hunt.  Lots of options.  I'll be doing the same with my old man in the next few years as soon as I get him a few points for the tags I want.

You may also want to pick an area that has a good chance to draw a couple of doe tags. Many do. Each hunter can get 2 doe tags and you have the option not keeping your doe tags unless you draw a buck tag. It just needs to be marked on your appl.

Imagine having 6 tags to fill between the two of you. 

PS 62 is the new 32.  My friends dad is 87 and he packed in with horses this year in Idaho. At last report he helped pack out 3 bulls.

Thanks everyone lots of good advice. I will keep looking into all of it and possibly even build some points for a couple years out. Also I like the idea about the doe tags never really thought about that. As far as guides go do any of you have any good history with one? thanks again

c) For antelope, no person shall apply for and receive more than one (1) full price antelope license (Type 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5
or 9) through the initial drawing. After the initial drawing is completed, any person may apply for and receive up to two
(2) full price antelope licenses. However, no person shall apply for and receive more than a total of two (2) full price
antelope licenses.
(d) For antelope, any person may apply for and receive a maximum of two (2) limited quota reduced price doe/fawn antelope licenses (Type 6, 7 or 8 ) through the initial drawing. After the initial drawing is completed, any person may purchase up to four (4) limited quota reduced price doe/fawn antelope licenses. However, no person shall apply for and receive more than a total of four (4) limited quota reduced price doe/ fawn antelope licenses.

My advice, find a “0” point unit that you can draw as a second choice. Apply for a longshot premium tag as your first choice and start building points. If you draw your 2nd choice unit it won’t burn your points. My cousin and I did that this past year. We went to a very difficult access unit and filled 3 tags each in 4 days. There are antelope everywhere you look in Wyoming, almost to the point where we got tired of looking at them, almost.
