Hope you get some good pic's of him!
Such a cool deer and glad he has got to spread his genes over many years and has lots of offspring running around.

His eye guards have the gnarl, but not as pronounced from front, and he has more mass with less spread.

I went after him yesterday and it was a bust.  In fact the whole day was a bust.   I got schooled by a big buck.   I was not happy with myself.   There was a smaller one with him, and  I thought there was a possibility it was Groucho, but when I looked at the one pic I got in the floating second I had him in my viewfinder, it wasn’t him.

Yeah, it wasn’t Groucho, but the buck I screwed up on was huge.   I’m not sure if you’ve ever hunted in Russian olives, but they are a real biotch.    I always preach patience to the newbs, well I lost my patience and was rewarded

Russian olives are a bitch. I've hunted pheasant in them around Potholes a bit.
May I always be the kind of person my dog thinks I am.

I have Russian olives a hundred yds from my door. They are being spread by the birds. It's just wonderful. Lol The thorns can get hellacious in a good thicket of them! I hope you get some pics of this guy and Groucho too! Good luck!

The holes they crawl into would fit a pheasant.    There’s.a reason they can outlive poachers, hunters, tribal harvest, four legged predators, bumpers etc.   The Mrs says be home tonight, so I’ll probably pull out of the north country and get after him again Monday. Fewer duck hunters.
