Thanksgiving to remember
« on: November 26, 2018, 10:51:11 PM »
I took my boys to the Snake River for Thanksgiving. The bird hunting could have been better but we were able to put a pheasant on the table for Thanksgiving dinner.

Thanksgiving is not going to happen every year. The wife is super cool and let it slide this year but I don't think she would be cool with a tradition. But you know how everything taste better when your hungry and camping. Even though it was stove top and instant mash. We were laughing saying that it was the best Thanksgiving dinner we have ever eaten. It also really made us think about what we have to be thankful for. Next year we are going to go to Idaho the week before Thanksgiving. Stay in the wall tent and hunt Chukar. I just have to narrow down the location.
Lead em if they're running.

That is pretty cool!! I'm going to steal this idea when my kids are old enough to get into hunting.

You are one awesome Dad. When you are no longer able to hunt the hill's, your boy's will remind you of the "best thanksgiving ever". I would start your search next year from Riggins and go from there.
