2018 Wyoming Rifle Bull 350"
« on: November 29, 2018, 08:33:22 PM »
I was lucky enough to get this bull on my first day of the hunt.  I passed on a smaller 6 and a rag horn.  I was looking for a better bull and had a week to try and get one.  I shot a bull in this unit a couple years ago on day four, so I was pretty confident in the area.  It was a close range shot and he was still bugling when I found him.  This was grizzly country and I was by myself. It took me two days to get the meat out.  Luckily they didn't find me.  This bull has a 45" inside spread with long mains, great mass and g4's.  Only about 8" of G3's combined.

I have done it two times in a row, however this year I ran into a hunter that shot and sprayed a bear near me.  I might have to rethink this  :)

Awesome Bull!! Saving up my point's for when I can go do a hunt like this. I too like going solo, but not sure I'm as brave as you.
